Below you will find instructions on how to register for your IGCSE/International GCSE and school exams if you are a private candidate.
Register for your exam
You can register online. The registrations close on 15 February 2022.
If you have any special requirements, you can find out here how we can help you.
Pay for your exam
You will find the fees for all exams listed on the registration system. Your application will not be processed until you have paid for your exams in full.
Similarly, you will not be allowed to attend an exam if you have paid but have not completed the application and submitted this along with all required documents to the British Council for confirmation of your registration.
There are two ways you can pay:
We accept Visa and Mastercard credit and Debit cards only for payment. You will be directed to a secure payment page.
Please note that you should only proceed to the payment page once you are ready to make a payment and you have your card information ready. Should you exceed the window period for payment processing, please follow the steps below;
